Clarence G. Bernier, CWO-4, USAF (Retired) April 07, 1914 - September 27, 1985
Clarence G. Bernier, Brimley, died Friday evening at War Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 7, 1914, in Sault Ste. Marie, and was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, as a member of Bethel Lodge No. 358, F, and A.M., assistant scoutmaster for Troop III, and president of the Brimely-Bay Mills Historical Society.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane; three sons, Steve of Brimley, David in the U.S. Air Force, Nellis AFB, Nevada, and Frank at home; a brother, Howard, of Indiana; and a sister, Eva Marchand, of Sault Ste. Marie.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. a First United Presbyterian Church, Dr. John Kipp officiating.
Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church roof fund.
