YEAST, Timothy Alan
Mr. Timothy Alan Yeast, 48, of Woodstock, GA passed away April 18, 2015. He was born on May 8, 1966 in Evansville, IN.
After graduating from Etowah High School, he attended college for 2 years. Tim honorably served in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm, Dessert Shield and Operation Just Cause. He was a flight engineer on the H-60 Pave Hawk. Tim spent his civilian career working at Jones Lang Lasalle. He was a passionate Harley Biker. He was a member of American Steel MC and the VFW. Tim was known for his dry sense of humor and his wit. He was very precious to his friends and family and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
Tim leaves behind his parents, Al and Brenda Yeast, aunts and uncles, Mike and Margie Kostbade, Orval and Linda Yeast, Garry and Donna Ghormley and Joyce Logsdon, cousins, Paul, Jeff, Lori, April and Amy and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 2:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tim to the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University Pancreatic Cancer Research, www.winshipcancer.emory.edu, 550 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308 or to the Wounded Warriors Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org, 3343 Peachtree Rd NE, #M20, Atlanta, GA 30326.
