Grady Miller Truitt, MSgt, USAF (Retired)

February 16, 1929 - May 30, 2014



Grady Miller Truitt of Schertz, Texas passed away on May 30, 2014 at the age of 85.  Grady was born February 16, 1929 in Whitney, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Christie Lee Goller.


Grady was a wonderful husband, father, and friend, a gentle giant who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren above all else.  His undying sense of duty to family and the military were immeasurable.  He will be greatly missed.


Grady is survived by his wife Kathryn Truitt; sons William (Mary) Truitt of Goose Creek, SC, Eugene (Tina) Hibbert of Cibolo, TX; Aaron (Sharen) Truitt of Live Oak, TX, Allen (Fran) Truitt of St. Charles, MO; daughters Linda (John) Goller of Nampa, ID and Vickie Taylor of Reno, NV; Grandchildren, Dana Hock, Michael Hock, Ashley Martinez, Kayla Truitt, Charles Truitt, Tamera Fuller, Cristina Truitt, Rebecca Ortwerth and Cat Truitt; and numerous Great-grandchildren.


A memorial service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Community Bible Church, 2477 W. Loop 1604, San Antonio, TX.
