Micheal (Mike) Lawlor.

I am the pastor of the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Son of MSgt Francis (Frank) John Lawlor, Jr., USAF, Ret (Deceased).

I served in the U.S. Navy from 1987-1993 on active duty, and from 1993-1995 in active reserves.

1988-90 USS Seattle (AOE-3), Norfolk, VA

1990-1993 Naval Legal Service Command, Pensacola, FL

1993-1995 Amphibious Combat Assault Group Two, Little Creek, VA

I ended my career as a Legalman Second Class (E-5), with an EAWS qualification (Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist). Got the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for hostile action off of Iran in 1989 when the Haji's kidnapped and hung Marine Lt. Col Higgins in Tehran.

Loved the navy, but got tired of going to sea. Answered a higher call
