Seldom do I come across a blog that's both educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you've hit the nail on the head. The issue is something that too few men and women are speaking intelligently about. Now i'm very happy that I stumbled across this in my hunt for something regarding this. scala bio promise protpo.teswomango.com/map16.php | Date: | October 22, 2021 22:47

Name: | GORDON MORTON MORTON MOVED2AK@YAHOO.COM | Entry: | 50 years later, I am still thankful for the courage of all rescue flights. I was extracted from the Quang Tri Citadel, 1May'72, along with the rest of MACV TM155.
A few years back, I found the transcript of radio traffic of that rescue, as published in the Airman's Magazine. Unfortunately, I lost it and can no longer find it online. The PJ's had big brass ones.
Thanx again!! | Date: | August 05, 2021 1:00

COMMENTS [ Posted by Jim Burns, March 31, 2021 15:10 ] That awe and admiration along with deep respect goes back at you. I flew with the 20th HS "Green Hornets" in 67-68 and the 21st SOS "Knifes" in 69-70 and know that more than once you A-1 drivers saved our butts. You, guys would be right down in the tree tops giving the bad guys all sorts of hell.

Between mortars, rockets, RPGs, booby traps and bullets, there was no safe place for any soldier in southeast Asia. 50 years has passed since the war but we have only to close our eyes to rejoin our brothers in the greatest nightmarish adventure of most of our lives. Your air support was critical to the war effort and saved many American lives! Remember your Christmas in Thailand? Mine was spent in Vietnam on an ambush patrol near the Cambodian border. I served with the 25th Infantry Division-3/22nd Battalion, Tay Ninh and later the 93rd Evac Hospital at Long Binh. -We may have served in different units in different AOs but our mission was the same! -Courage on the Mountain- Free to Amazon Prime members- Over one hundred 5 star reviews- courageonthemountain.com
Glad that you made it home brother!
