Charles (Ray) Dunn.
1960 - 1962 at Laredo AFB, TX. with Det. 36, CARC as a Pilot flying HH-43A/B's.
1962 - 1963 at Chaumont AB, France with Det. 5, AARC as a Pilot flying H-19's & HH-43B's.
1963 - 1965 at Hahn AB, Germany with Det. 5, AARC as a Pilot flying HH-43B's.
1965 - 1967 at McDill AFB, FL. with Det. 14, EARC as a Pilot flying HH-43B's.
1967 - 1968 at Danang AB, RVN with the 37th ARRS, as a Jolly Green Pilot flying HH-3E's.
1968 - 1969 at Patrick AFB, FL. with Det. 15, EARRC as a Pilot flying HH-3E's.
1969 - 1971 at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. as a student at the Air Force Institute of Technology and flew the fixed wing C-54 and T-33.
1971 - 1972 at Patuxent River NAS, MD. as a student in the U.S. Navy Test Pilot School (USNTPS) where I flew multiple fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft.
1972 - 1976 at Edwards AFB, CA. with the 6512th Test Squadron as a Experimental Test Pilot flying the H-1, H-53 and C-130 series aircraft.
1976 - 1981 at Hill AFB, UT. with the 6514th Test Squadron as a Test Pilot/Commander flying H-3's, H-53's, & C-130's.
1981 - 1984 at Hickam AFB, HI. with the 6594th Test Group as a Pilot/Commander flying the HH-53C's & C-130's.
1984 - 1986 at Edwards AFB, CA. with Det. 5, Air Force Operational Test & Evaluation Center as a Pilot/Commander flying the UH-1N.
I retired from the USAF in August 1986 and went to work for Boeing/Vertol as an experimental test pilot flying numerous aircraft series including H-47, H-46, H-60, BO-105, H-64, V-22 and fixed wing support aircraft.
I Retired from Boeing in July, 2000.
