1981 - 1985 At Edwards AFB, CA. with Det. 5, 40th ARRS as an Instructor Pilot on UH-1N's.


1985 - At Andrews AFB, MD. with the 1st HS as an Evaluator Pilot on UH-1N's and a Copilot on CH-3E's. 



~KEN'S EXPANDED BIOGRAPHY~


Ken Lee is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Miami in 1979; he also completed two years of Masters degree work at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in 1984. He served for 20 years in the United States Air Force qualifying as an instructor and evaluator pilot on various helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. During his distinguished career he served in various leadership positions to include Wing Chief of Safety, Wing Chief of Training and Evaluation, and Assistant Director of Operations. His career culminated in 2000 as an aircraft commander on Air Force One (VC-25). In 2000 he joined American Airlines as a Flight Engineer and First Officer flying the 727, 737, and MD-80. He is currently the Safety Chairman of the National Safety Committee for the Allied Pilots Association representing the Pilots of American Airlines. He is also a 737 First Officer. His formal training includes aircraft mishap investigation, safety program management, crew resource management, operational risk management, instructor pilot training from the Boeing Company, and numerous professional military education programs.
