Doug Robertson. UH-1N Pilot;
1988, Fort Rucker, AL. for Undergraduate Pilot Training.
1988 - 1992, Det. 10, 37th Air Rescue and Recovery Squadron, Military Airlift Command, at Francis E. Warren AFB, WY.
1992 - 1996, 1st Helicopter Squadron, 89th Airlift Wing, Air Mobility Command, Andrews AFB, MD.
1994, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as the combat search and rescue advisor to the Commander, Joint Task Force Southwest Asia.
1996 - 1999, Twentieth Air Force, Frances E. Warren AFB, WY. He served as the Chief of Helicopter Standardization and Evaluation.
1999 – 2002, 91st Space Wing at Minot AFB, ND as Operations Officer of the “fighting” 54th Helicopter Flight, then selected to commander the same unit.
2002 - 2005, Twentieth Air Force, Frances E. Warren AFB, WY. He served as the Deputy Chief of Helicopter Operations, and later as the Chief.
2005 - 2006, Special Operations Command, Korea. As the Deputy Director for Operations.
2006 - 2010, the Chief of Helicopter Operations for Air Force Space Command and stood up the fledgling Air Force Global Strike Command, led the Lead-Major Command for the UH-1N in the USAF. He directed all requirements for 62 UH-1Ns across 6 MAJCOMs and was the career field manager for over 250 pilots.
Career: credited with 31 lives saved.
