Alice (Bell) Surrency

1975 – 1977 at McClellan AFB, CA. with the 41st CAMS as a Helicopter Mechanic/Crew Chief 43150C on the HH-53C’s.

1977 – 1978 at Osan AB, Korea as a Crew Chief on the H-3’s.

1978 – 1980 back at McClellan AFB, CA. with the 41st CAMS on the HH-53C’s.

Being a rotorhead is where my heart lies, everyone in my family has now worked for Sikorsky Helicopters.  My husband is a Crew Chief in the experimental hanger here in West Palm Beach, FL and I was a Final Assembly Inspector in West Palm also, and now our son has been at Sikorsky West Palm in the flight test branch as a Computer Engineer.  We all have helicopters in our blood, I wonder if it is genetic?

Alice has a great claim to fame and story of her Air Force helicopter career that can be seen by clicking the button below.
