We are trying to identify the individual in this photo.  This H-19A, 51-3893, is "Hop A Long" which one of two H-19's that were the first to cross the Atlantic.  Lead aircraft of the pioneering 1952 transatlantic flight, "Hop A Long" was flown by mission commander Capt Vincent McGovern and Capt Harry Jeffers.   We believe the individual in the picture may be Capt McGovern or Capt Jeffers.  If you have any information pertaining to this picture please let us know.
