Just read the email about Jim Moore's passing. Never met him but talked to him on the phone once. Jim was a great man, a devoted Americian who never forgot his military experiences and devoted his remaining days on this earth maintaining this website. The good Lord has a special place for his kind.

I was known as Julio when I was stationed at Osan AB in South Korea with the 38th ARRS. I was the Intelligence Specialist for the unit at that time. It was in the 38th ARRS in 1980-81. I was wondering whatever happened to the unit and if they or another unit took over the duties of the old Jolly Greens. Also, what happened to the men or the unit.

This is a nice web site. I was in NKP as a mechanic for the Jolly Greens in 1969 -1970. We moved to Udorn in 70 where I finish my year out. Went to Shaw AFB and was there till I got out in 1971. I like to know if anyone one this site knows anything about David Bond who was a flight engineer at Da Nang?

Thanks for posting your Frequent Wind story. I was on board the USS Hancock at the time. I remember very well the USAF CH-53 landing on Hanna that fateful day. 29 April, 1975. I only wish there were more web pages dedicated to that day.

God bless you and all who have served our nation!

And may God bless America!

The holder of this patch states a Tech Rep gave it to him upon relating his experience to him. This is the only one of its kind as far as we know. Based on what you say it could well have handed out by Tech Reps. You might want to contact Sikorsky and see what they may know about it.

Hello Dustys.
My first time here. Never heard of this site. I'm old and feeble but I can still lift a mug of beer.
I was at NKP from Nov. '67 to Dec "69.
Let's have a reunion.
