This H-19, 51-3965, was one of two aircraft that was salvaged at Naha AB Okinawa. The "save" list was complied with and the aircraft was salvaged as depicted in the below pictures.  This particular aircraft was salvaged early in 1971.  NOTE: Sid Nansen stated this aircraft was delivered out of the factory, new on the 1st of July 1953.
