May 1979 - July 1979 at Lackland AFB, TX. for basic training.

July 1979 - September 1979 at Sheppard AFB, TX. for helicopter school.

September 1979 - January 1982 at Eglin AFB, FL. with the 55th ARRS on the HH-53's. While at Eglin I served with the 20th SOS in the first Rapid Deployment Forces/Operation Honey Badger on the MH-53's Pave Lows.

January 1982 - May 1984 at Clark AB, PI with the 31st ARRS on HH-3E's.

May 1984 - May 1985 at Eglin AFB, FL with the 655th CAMS on UH-60's.

May 1985 - Discharged.

May 1985 - 1987 at Ft. Wayne International Airport, IN., with the 122nd CAMS, Indiana Air National Guard on F-4D's.
