Ralph Schwiderske

 

I enlisted in the AF in Nov. 1979. Basic training and then Tech School in Wichita Falls Texas (light lift).

 

My first duty assignment was Indian Springs A.F.A.F.(UH-1N).

 

I left there in February of 1984 and went to Vandenberg A.F.B. California (UH-1N).

 

I left Vandenberg in December of 1988 and went to Andrews A.F.B. Maryland (UH1-N).

 

I left Andrews in January of  1993 and went to Osan A.B. South Korea for a year (the mighty MH-53J Pave Low) (Gods Helicopter!!!!).

 

After that I went to Patrick A.F.B. Florida (HH-3E and then MH-60G's). 

 

I spent three years there and then the Air Force  moved the whole unit to Moody A.F.B. Georgia (MH-60G). I retired from the A.F there.

 

I now work for the Department of Army at Fort Rucker Alabama for the Aviation Technical Testing Center.
